Dealing with a Pinch
Our church has been feeling a pinch financially in the light of the current economic conditions.  Are other churches being affected by what’s going on economically as well?  If so, what types of things do pastors minister to encourage their people during these times, and what types of adjustments are pastors making to keep their churches healthy financially? A Cosmic Concert
Rev. Tony Cooke

Do you recall reading the verse in the book of Job about a time “when the morning stars sang together” and wondered what that might mean?  It may be that science is now helping to provide some insight on that verse.  Read the article.

Go! A Simple Way to Share Your Faith
Pastor Joe Cameneti

Many have been falsely convinced that their gifts and style are not conducive to sharing Christ effectively.  This couldn’t be further from reality!  No matter who you are, God has a designated purpose for your gifts, style, and personality.  Read the article to find out if you are a finger-pointer, hand-grabber, arm-opener, or back-patter. Preference or Conviction?
Rev. Todd Bailey

In his famous play, Hamlet, William Shakespeare penned the famous line, "To be or not to be; that is the question." I think it should be rephrased - "To be what I want to be, or to be what God wants me to be; that is the question." It is so easy to stop living a life of conviction. The devil will give 1,000 alternatives (preferences) to keep you from doing what God requires you to do. Even people can sway you away from doing what your are supposed to be doing. Paul told Christians at the church at Corinth, "Ye are bought with a price, be not ye the servant of men." (1 Corinthians 7:23).  Read the article.

Negotiating Transition (Part 2)
Rev. Gary Crowl

Transition can be a potentially vulnerable time for a minister because he or she is faced with the prospect of change, which usually requires personal sacrifice and additional commitment. Change also carries with it the concept of the unknown. Even if the minister has received specific direction from the Lord, there is always an element of the unknown attached to that new direction.
